More than two weeks ago, Chief Gorden Eden announced there was no video from Officer Dear’s lapel camera when he fatally shot Mary Hawkes.
They are even attempting to calculate out if Dear turned it on like he said he answered or if it malfunctioned.
” Chief Eden said. “That’s why we sent it to the experts.”
Now Mary Hawkes was gunned down on April 21 in which officer claim she had pulled a gun on officer Dear but yet no Lapel camara or footage of such actions. They take a small side arm was recovered and found by her side Krqe went one to state this
News 13 obtained APD records on Dear’s past.While the department redacted a lot of it, they do show a month after that downtown skirmish where Dear didn’t have lapel video, he was lectured for another purpose of force incident for not working his camera onKRQE tried to obtain the police report for the details, but APD’s records unit said it was gone.
Now Last June a memo confirms Apd reminded Dear to record all interactions with the public and a sergeant was to show up on officer dear's calls which raises questions where was the sergeant at the time of all this and who was his sergeant on duty at the time
Despite Dear being flagged for a string of use of force cases and citizen complaints, This officer is still on the force with little to no warning at all allowed on the streets over and over again to put people's fate in his own Hands
Now Back in April 24 a post on a website know as pastebin from a guest account posted Jeremy Dear Information Listing his house address and phone number The same tactics we have seen on other officers that killed James Boyd We will continue to update you on these stories as they unfold
